PURPOSE:
The Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department seeks the approval of the master plan for Mason Mill Park by the Board of Commissioners.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Mason Mill Park master plan outlines a project that consists of a 118 acre park area to include overall improvements and connectivity to Ira B. Melton Neighborhood Park, Water Works Cultural Area, dog park/trail head area, Burnt Fork Nature Preserve, South Fork Nature Preserve and Jamestown Neighborhood Park.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact for the plan. Estimated cost to implement the plan is $6.9 Million (2009)

Recommended Action
To approve the Mason Mill Park Master Plan and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
