PURPOSE:
The Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department seeks BOC approval of the Delano Line Park Master Plan
NEED/IMPACT:
The master plan for Delano Line Park’s 18.5 acre site includes passive recreation, educational opportunities, streambank restoration, trails, invasive plant removal and restoration of native plants to the stream valley, and other amenities as outlined in the master plan.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Phase I of the master plan is funded by Parks Bond and grant funding. Phase II funding and budget TBD
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the Delano Line Park Master Plan and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
