PURPOSE:
On December 10, 2002, the BOC approved the purchase the Oracle applications with all licenses and technical support for an amount not to exceed $2,027,751.94. On March 24, 2009, the BOC approved the renewal of all Oracle platform licenses for an amount not to exceed $619,289.64. On February 9, 2010, the BOC approved the renewal of all Oracle Platform licenses for an amount not to exceed $797,184.60. On January 14, 2011, the BOC approved the renewal of all Oracle platform licenses, for an amount not to exceed $930,319.28. On February 28, 2012, the BOC approved the renewal of all Oracle platform licenses and support for an amount not to exceed $1,029,369.28. On December 12, 2012, the BOC approved the renewal of all Oracle platform licenses and support for an amount not to exceed $897,685.21. On January 28, 2014, the BOC approved the renewal of all Oracle platform licenses and support for an amount not to exceed $1,211,279.53. On February 24, 2015, the BOC approved the renewal of all Oracle platform licenses and support for an amount not to exceed $1,204,350.15. On November 10, 2015, the BOC approved the renewal of all Oracle platform licenses for an amount not to exceed $1,718,748.21. On December 13, 2016, the BOC approved the renewal of all Oracle platform licenses for an amount not to exceed $1,662,168.74. On November 14, 2017, the BOC approved the renewal of all Oracle platform licenses for an amount not to exceed $1,864,900.43. On December 4, 2018, the BOC approved the renewal of all Oracle platform licenses for an amount not to exceed $2,407,214.06. This contract consists of providing all licenses and technical support for the County’s Oracle applications. The applications and support are proprietary and only Oracle America, Inc. and its authorized partners may provide support for the County’s Oracle applications. This request is to add additional services and licenses to the current Oracle America contract and add additional funding to cover the costs of additional services and licenses.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:
Oracle America, Inc. 500 Oracle Pkwy., Red Shores, CA 94065
Amount Not to Exceed: $661,038.79
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
