PURPOSE:
Request to increase funding in a total amount not to exceed $4,800,000.00 and record in the minutes that the Contract's expiration date is December 31, 2022. The Contract was originally approved in December 2017 by the Board of Commissioners. The 2017 Agenda Item (Agenda Item 2017-1091) incorrectly identified the Contract as an annual contract with options to renew in the title of the relevant RFP and listed the expiration date as December 31, 2018; however, the sample contract included in the RFP and the executed Contract provide that the Contract automatically terminates every December 31st and automatically renews every January 1st until it expires with no further renewals on December 31, 2022, unless earlier terminated. The correct Contract expiration date is December 31, 2022. Additionally, the 2017 Agenda Item identifies the total cost as an amount not to exceed $1,200,000.00; however, the executed Contract lists the total cost as an amount not to exceed $1,200,000.00, annually. An additional $4,800,000.00 is needed to ensure services through December 31, 2022 ($1,200,000.00 of the requested additional funds have already been paid for services received during the 2019 calendar year).
