PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on February 26, 2019 for an amount not to exceed $640,000.00. This contract consists of piggybacking off the City of Atlanta’s competitively let contract for on-call painting services. This request is for additional funding to complete remaining 2020 painting projects and graffiti removal at any of the 108 park locations. Specific projects include: painting pool touch ups at Tobie Grant, Gresham, Kittredge, Medlock, Midway and Lithonia pools; pressure washing and painting the exterior of the Exchange Intergenerational Center and the Redan Recreation Center as well as the handrails and some interior rooms; painting the interior of Porter Sanford and all standalone restroom buildings located at Mason Mill, Lou Walker, Flat Shoals and Wade Walker parks. Other painting services at pavilion locations will include: Wade Walker (7 shelters), Mason Mill (3 shelters), Shoal Creek II (2 shelters) and Redan (2 shelters).
