PURPOSE:
Authorize the acceptance of GDOT Federal Funding Assistance Associated with the Mid-field Taxiway Improvements (Runway Incursion Mitigation) at PDK and approve the execution of the attached resolution.
NEED/IMPACT:
Authorization is needed to accept a Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) allocation of federal funding assistance that consists of mid-field taxiway improvements (Runway Incursion Mitigation) on the Airport. The federal funding assistance provides for improvements to sustain continued safety on the Airport.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The federal funding assistance includes FAA funding in a 100% allocation for the mid-field taxiway improvements (runway incursion mitigation (RIM) or $3,255.218.95. There is no cost to the County.
