PURPOSE:
To approve a resolution to appropriate Federal Coronavirus Relief Fund proceeds assigned to Grant Fund #258, for the purposes of Maintaining Food Security for students, providing technology for virtual learning and broadband access to students in DeKalb affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and to provide PPE to CBOs for the purpose of community distribution and other purposes.
NEED/IMPACT:
Public relief is needed to counter the impact of the Coronavirus. This budget amendment will place resources with Community Based Organizations (CBOs) to provide relief and support to residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Appropriate from Grant Fund #285 to Community Based Organizations listed in the Resolution.
