PURPOSE:
To transfer an additional $65,000 from 2001 Parks Bond District 2 account 100592.80314.541100.05.600010 to District 2 Kittredge Park Development account 105021.80314.541200.06.600010 for the purchase and installation of a single stall restroom.
NEED/IMPACT:
This project was previous approved for $150,000 on 11/5/2018 item 2018-2891. The additional $65,000 is needed to cover unforeseen installation cost for the single stall restroom at Kittredge Park. The unit will include a programmable electronic lock, a water fountain, a bottle filler and a dog bowl. It will be located near the sidewalk leading to the playground. This will be the first stand-alone unit at Kittredge Park
FISCAL IMPACT:
No impact to the operating budget. Project funded by 2001 Parks Bond District 2.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend that funds in the amount of $65,000.00 be transferred from 2001 Parks Bond District 2 account 100592.80314.541100.05.600010 to Kittredge Park Development account 105021.80314.541200.06.600010 for the completion of a new restroom; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all the necessary documents and contracts for the completion of the project.
