PURPOSE:
To approve the appropriation of $800,000 from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) ACT Assigned to Grant Fund #258, Reserved for District 2, To the DeKalb County Community Development Department for the purpose of administering operational continuity reimbursement to District 2 Non-profits.
NEED/IMPACT:
The funds are being appropriated to help many non-profits in District 2 that were not included in the Small Business Loan program previously administered by DeKalb County in order to provide relief and support and operational continuity to those organizations that have been impacted by COVID-19.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding will come from Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) ACT Assigned to Grant Fund #258, Reserved for District 2.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the appropriation of $800,000 from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES)ACT Assigned to Grant Fund #258, Reserved for District 2 to the DeKalb County Community Development Department to administer for operational continuity reimbursement to non-profits in District 2 impacted byCOVID-19.
