PURPOSE:
To appropriate District 2 CARES Act Funding in the amount of $10,000.00 to the DeKalb County Public Library to install a bi-polar ionization units at the Toco Hill-Avis G. Williams Branch.
NEED/IMPACT:
Commissioner Rader seeks to improve the air quality at the Toco Hill- Avis G. Williams branch of the DeKalb County Library System as it is heavily used by District 2 seniors, a vulnerable population relative to the coronavirus. This installation will help with air filtration and quality.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding will come from Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) ACT for District 2.
