PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on May 22, 2018 for an amount not to exceed $22,957,580.00. This contract consists of, but is not limited to the following activities: sewer pipe replacement with same diameter or larger diameter; pipe replacement utilizing either open-cut or pipe-bursting methods; full or partial length sewer lining; point repairs; manhole interior coating or lining; manhole height adjustment and/or frame and cover adjustment or replacement; connection sealing; and/or manhole replacement at various locations. This request is to extend the contract term to allow for design changes that require new sewer alignments, plats, and easements. This request will also allow for the completion of existing services and assist in the continued mitigation of sewer spills.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:

Garney Companies, Inc., 5895 Shiloh Road, Suite 114, Alpharetta, GA 30005

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
