PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on August 12, 2014 to nine (9) separate sole source vendors for a total amount not to exceed $9,029,128.90. On April 28, 2015, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to Contract No. 14-902881 to increase scope and funding in an amount not to exceed $146,901.00. On June 28, 2016, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to Contract Nos. 14-902880, 964908 (formerly known as (fka) 14-902886), 964685 (fka 14-902887), 14-902883, and 14-902884 to increase scope of work and funding for a total amount not to exceed $2,030,786.53 and Change Order No. 1 to Contract No. 969193 (fka 14-90288) to reduce scope and funding. On October 11, 2016, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to Contract No. 14-902882 to increase contract time and term.

On December 8, 2015, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to Contract No. 14-902881 to increase funding in an amount not to exceed $49,680.00. On January 24, 2017, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to Contract Nos. 14-902882 and 14-902884 to increase scope of work and funding for a total amount not to exceed $148,980.00. On February 13, 2018, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to Contract No. 964685 (fka 14-902887) to increase scope of work, contract time, and funding in an amount not to exceed $170,000.00.

On November 14, 2017, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 to Contract No. 14-902882 to increase contract term. On December 12, 2017, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 to Contract No. 14-902884 to increase scope of work and funding in an amount not to exceed $100,000.00.

Of the nine (9) awarded sole source vendors, only three still have active contracts. This request is to increase the contract term to December 31, 2022 for two of the remaining three contracts. These vendors are Engineers-of-Record for various water main, sewer reroute, and lift station projects and must remain so through the completion of construction.
