PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on December 16, 2014 for an amount not to exceed $312,000.00. On December 10, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to extend the contract term to December 31, 2020 and increase the contract amount by $87,790.00. This contract supports the administration of the BFLDP, elite training offered to develop leaders who will help transform government. The training requires a one-year commitment and includes a comprehensive ten-session program designed to develop and prepare employees with leadership potential for higher level opportunities in county government. The original kick-off date for the class of 2020 was postponed from March to November; therefore, more time is needed to complete the training period for new trainees. This request is to extend the contract term to December 31, 2021.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 with:
Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, University of Georgia - Carl Vinson Institute of Government, 201 North Milledge Avenue, Athens, GA 30602
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
