PURPOSE:
Consists of the installation of 3,380 linear feet of 8 inch diameter ductile iron force main pipe from Dennis Springs Road to SR 124, and again from SR 124 to Stonebridge Park Circle to an existing manhole; 5,220 linear feet of 8 inch diameter high density polyethylene (HDPE) force main pipe installed within an abandoned 24 inch diameter ductile iron pipe along SR 124; as well as the installation of an 8 inch diameter force main across the Yellow River utilizing trenchless technology. This request is part of DeKalb County's IGA with Gwinnett County in which all DeKalb County sewer flows currently discharging to Gwinnett County will be rerouted back to the DeKalb County sewer system. Five (5) bids were received.

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the contract and all associated documents.
