PURPOSE:
To pass a resolution requesting that the General Assembly institute a “Transparency Policy” for Public Safety Officer complaints;
NEED/IMPACT:
The adoption of a transparency policy in the state of Georgia would increase public trust in Public Safety Officers by increasing accountability;
FISCAL IMPACT:
