PURPOSE:
To pass a resolution requesting that the General Assembly enact legislation that requires Public Safety Officers to obtain personal liability insurance;
NEED/IMPACT:
Requiring public safety officers to obtain personal liability insurance would help to reduce the liability to public agencies, such as municipalities & the county government;
FISCAL IMPACT:
None;
