PURPOSE:
In 2019, Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson dedicated funds to purchase pavilions for each District 5 Library. The pavilions have arrived and been constructed. This agenda item is to ensure the newly constructed pavilions have the proper seating so that citizens can use the pavilions.
NEED/IMPACT:
The funds will cover the purchase, installation and freight of the benches for all District 5 libraries.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Transfer $30,000 from Non-Departmental - Unincorporated Fund - Reserve for Appropriation (09130.579002.272.0000.0000) to Non-Departmental - Unincorporated Fund - Transfer to CIP Fund for use by District 5 DeKalb County Public Libraries.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend that funds in the amount of $30,000 be designated for the specific projects.
