To resolve Edith Holley's property damage claim, 3774 Chateauguay Drive, Decatur, Georgia 30034.
NEED/IMPACT:
To resolve a property damage claim and avoid litigation risks.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$110,548 from watershed funds.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Defer this item to the December 15, 2020 Board of Commissioners meeting for a vote to approve payment of the total sum of $110,548 to Edith Holley to resolve her property damage claim arising from a December 2, 2019 water main break, in return for and conditioned on Ms. Holley's execution of an appropriate release and waiver of claims.
