PURPOSE:
This project consists of the construction of the new Districts' 4 & 7 community and senior center located adjacent to the existing Hairston Park. The new 23,920 square foot facility will create a gathering space dedicated to the vitality and physical well-being of the community. The one-story facility will contain a multi-purpose conference room, classrooms, dining room with stage, kitchen, lounge area administration offices, fitness, aerobics/dance, game room, pool and locker rooms. Ten (10) bids were received.

Recommend award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder:
Headley Construction Corporation, 44 East Washington Street, Newnan, GA 30263
Amount Not To Exceed: $8,489,440.30
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the contract and all associated documents.
