PURPOSE:
Consists of piggybacking off the competitively let HGAC Cooperative Contract No. FS-12-19 to purchase two (2) SVI Heavy Duty Air & Light Specialty Support vehicles. Their main purpose is to refill the SCBA bottles while on the fire ground. The units have specialized compressor systems that filter the air found in the atmosphere and clean it to a breathing air standard. There are currently no reserve units that can fill the SCBA bottles nor carry the rehab equipment to support fire ground suppression efforts. The vendor can only hold the price for these units till January 31, 2021. These are replacement units under the twelve (12) year replacement schedule.

Recommend approval to piggyback off the competitively let HGAC Cooperative Contract #FS-12-19 with:
