PURPOSE:
Approve the transfer $324,720 from 2001 Park Bond Funds Account District 4 account 100629.80314.541100.05.600012 and to set-up a new District 4 Development account for the District 4 Community and Senior Center.
NEED/IMPACT:
The funding is needed to fund the construction of a new Community and Senior Center located at Elam and South Hairston Roads in Stone Mountain. The Center will offer intergenerational programming to include multi-purpose rooms, administrative offices and a heated saltwater pool. Center will create a community place focused on the intergenerational well-being of the community.
