PURPOSE:
DWM is requesting additional funding to the GDOT PI0009988 agreement for SR 212/Browns Mill Rd at CR 594/Salem Rd improvement that is associated with Watershed Management in the amount of $40,313.81. Change Order No. 1 requested an additional $48,420. GDOT's original quote submitted to DWM dated June 4, 2018 stated the total low bid for this project was $4,873,402.03 with DWM portion being $979,590 however some items were omitted in the original agreement. Therefore, the County entered into a Contract Item Agreement with GDOT to include water and sewer installations/adjustments for the Browns Mill Road and Salem Road Improvements project to prevent construction delays, minimize impact to adjacent property owners and the traveling public. The County has agreed to pay the cost of completing the work. This will ensure that there are adequate funds on this agreement...
