PURPOSE:
Commissioner Ted Terry is appointing Richard Alvarez to the DeKalb County Recreation, Parks & Cultural Affairs Citizens Advisory Board.
NEED/IMPACT:
Approve the appointment of Richard Alvarez to the Recreation, Parks & Cultural Affairs Citizens Advisory Board. Richard Alvarez is the current member of the DeKalb County Recreation, Parks & Cultural Affairs Citizens Advisory Board appointed by the former District 6 Commissioner. He has indicated his intent to continue to serve in this capacity for newly elected District 6 Commissioner Ted Terry.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
The Board of Commission to approve the appointment of Richard Alvarez as a member of the DeKalb County Recreation, Parks & Cultural Affairs Citizens Advisory Board, appointed by the District 6 Commissioner, with a term to begin January 1, 2021 to serve for a term ending on December 31, 2024, unless otherwise provided by applicable law.
