PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on July 23, 2019 for an amount not to exceed $3,223,197.45. This contract consists of widening the road on the south side to add a two-way center turn lane and on-road bike lanes. In addition, a 6-foot wide sidewalk and new curb gutter are being added on the south side of the road. The project is located in Pine Lake and is approximately 0.3 miles long. This request is for additional funds for the lowering of two (2) sanitary sewer laterals that are in conflict with the proposed drain system and to extend the contract term.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 to increase the contract funds and extend the contract through December 31, 2021 with:
E.R. Snell Contractor, Inc., 1785 Oak Road, Snellville, GA 30078
Amount Not To Exceed: $26,174.72
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
