PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on December 8, 2020 for an amount not to exceed $1,168,231.00.  This request is to extend the term of the contract to December 31, 2025 and to award line item #63 as an Additive Alternate in the amount of $400,000.00 for GCCS upgrades.  This award amount will be utilized for the efficiency of gas collection system; thus, maximizing gas production for the Green Energy Facility (GEF) and controlling of landfill odors.  This funding will also assist with maintaining compliance with the landfill Title V permit conditions/compliance and maintaining stable gas field conditions.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:

 

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc., 1255 Roberts Blvd., NW, Suite 200 Kennesaw, GA 30144

 

Amount Not To Exceed: $400,000.00

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the contract and all associated documents.
