PURPOSE:
Cornerstone Golf, which manages Mystery Valley Golf Course under an Agreement with DeKalb County, is requesting authorization to increase the daily greens fees and cart fee as well as the annual membership fees for 2021.
NEED/IMPACT:
The increase is one dollar ($1.00) in all daily greens fees as well as an increase of one dollar ($1.00) in the cart fee. All annual membership fees will be increased by $50.00.
FISCAL IMPACT:
These increases will generate an estimated $40,000 in 2021. The Agreement with Cornerstone Golf calls for a quarterly payment to DeKalb County equal to 3% of gross revenues. Revenue payments by Cornerstone Golf to DeKalb County in 2020 was $22,067.53.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution to increase the golf fees at Mystery Valley Golf Course as requested and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents and contracts required.
