PURPOSE:
To consider adopting the attached ordinance to amend the Code of DeKalb County, Georgia, Chapter 17, Article XXI, Section 362 to restrict parking from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Hill Park Court except for vehicles displaying residential parking permits.
NEED/IMPACT:
The proposed restrictions are intended to allow only residential permit parking on Hill Park Court during certain hours due to excessive on-street parking by users of the nearby South Fork Peachtree Creek Trail. The street is not long enough to qualify under the current residential permit parking program.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The only costs are for production and installation of necessary signs and permits.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To adopt the attached ordinance to amend the Code of DeKalb County, Georgia, Chapter 17, Article XXI, Section 362 to restrict parking from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Hill Park Court except for vehicles displaying residential parking permits; and to authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents pertaining to this ordinance.
