PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on January 22, 2019, for an amount not to exceed $450,000.00. On June 11, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $685,500.00 for demolition and installation of new toilets and urinals in 109 County buildings in accordance with the Consent Decree. On December 17, 2019, the BOC approved the 1st renewal option for an amount not to exceed $450,000.00. On February 25, 2020, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 for an amount not to exceed $279,047.62 to complete the Retro-Fit Program. On December 15, 2020, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal option for an amount not to exceed $550,000.00. On January 1, 2021, J. Squared Plumbing Inc. changed their organizational services to provide residential plumbing services only and transferred plumbing services for governmental contracts to J2 Connect, Inc. Both companies are 100% owned and operated by the same owner. This request is for consent to assignment of the contract to J2 Connect, Inc. with no change in contract terms, conditions, or prices and for additional funding due to the increasing demand for services.
