PURPOSE:
To consider accepting the VAWA grant award in the amount of $50,000 from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to support the salary and partial benefits of one (1) full-time SVU Prosecuting Attorney.
NEED/IMPACT:
CJCC has awarded the Solicitor-General’s Office funding for FY21 to support salaries and benefits of one full-time employee working within the offices Special Victims Prosecuting Unit.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The award requires a 20% match of $16,666 which will be covered through our transfer to grants account.
