PURPOSE:

To consider accepting $5,232.00 for DeKalb County Felony Mental Health Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) and appropriating the amount to an existing grant award.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) has awarded $5,232 the DeKalb County Felony Mental Health Court to use towards three (3) months of hotspot internet services, zoom subscription, laptop computer, desktop and printer, and cell phone for  Felony Mental Health Court Treatment Coordinator. The funding period is from April 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021 and no match is required.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Funding for three (3) months of hotspot services, zoom subscription, laptop computer, desktop and printer, and cell phone provided by Criminal Justice Coordinating Council in the amount of $5,232.00. Funding must be expended by June 30, 2021, end of State FY 2021.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents. To accept $5,232 for DeKalb County Felony Mental Health Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and appropriate the amount to an existing grant award.
