PURPOSE:
Dekalb County Private Industry Council (PIC) is donating $2,500 to assist with the purchase of supplies for the DeKalb Virtual Career Academy (DVCA) Summer Youth Initiative. The funds will assist with the purchase of supplies for participant.
NEED/IMPACT:
The acceptance for these funds will increase the availability of supplies for DVCA participants.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No impact to county funds. 100% of these funds are being donated by the DeKalb County PIC. There are no matching funds requirement from the county.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Approve to accept funding from the DeKalb County PIC not to exceed $2,500 for the purchase of supplies for DVCA participants. Appropriate the amount of funds awarded to a grant fund. Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute necessary documents.
