PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on September 22, 2020 for an amount not to exceed $436,883.00. Due to the pandemic, meals cannot be served inside DeKalb County Senior Centers and the cost for raw food has increased. This request is to adjust the price of congregate meals from $8.16 per meal to $8.25 per meal for Year 1 and to change the meal type from warm to frozen. The frozen meals will be utilized until the senior centers are reopened to full capacity.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:
Meals On Wheels Atlanta, 1705 Commerce Drive NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
Amount Not To Exceed: $14,000.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the contract and all associated documents.
