PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on June 23, 2015. On December 15, 2020, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to extend the contract term to June 30, 2021 and to waive the “Minimum Monthly Guaranteed Payment” amount of $10,000.00 for the months from March 2020 thru December 2020 due to the Covid-19 driven economic downturn.  This contract consists of providing parking management services, specifically, revenue collection and reporting at County parking sites and providing monthly Gross Revenue Percentage of 55% to 58% of collections and a Minimum Monthly Guaranteed Payment of $10,000.00 to the County. This request is to extend the contract term for twelve (12) months from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 and to waive the “Minimum Monthly Guaranteed Payment” amount of $10,000.00 from January 1, 2021 thru December 31, 2021 due to the continuing Covid-19 driven economic downturn. The vendor payment percentages of 58% (Trinity Parking Lot) and 55% (Camp Road Lot) to the County will remain the same.  

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 with:

 

Lanier Parking Meter Services, LLC, 233 Peachtree Street, Ste. 2600, Atlanta, Georgia 30303

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
