PURPOSE:
To approve the appropriation of $25,000 from the American Rescue Plan grant funds assigned to the account reserved for District 7 to the DeKalb County Juvenile Justice Court to assist DeKalb juveniles with education, technology, counseling, and other wrap around services, as well as deliver quality programming to aid in the rehabilitation and redirection of at-risk youth in DeKalb County.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Coronavirus has impacted many families in District 7 and throughout DeKalb County; public relief is needed to counter the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Critical resources will be provided to the DeKalb County Juvenile Justice Court to assist at-risk youth.
FISCAL IMPACT:
To appropriate $25,000 from the American Rescue Plan grant funds assigned to the District 7 account to the DeKalb County Juvenile Justice Court.

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
