PURPOSE:

To consider approving one addition to the fleet for a District Attorney’s Investigator vehicle to be purchased from grant funds; and

To authorize the CEO to execute all necessary documents.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The Office of the District Attorney is seeking approval to purchase a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse for $28,135 to add to our current vehicle inventory to be utilized by our investigators. This vehicle will be purchased using grants funds from our FY 2018 Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant (JAG). The grant was previously approved by the BOC for acceptance in 2018.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Grant funds will be utilized to purchase the grant, with no match required. No additional funds are being requested.

Recommended Action

Approve one addition to the fleet for a District Attorney’s Investigator vehicle; and authorize the CEO to execute all necessary documents.
