PURPOSE:
To approve the appropriation of $50,000 from the America Rescue Plan grant funds assigned to the account
reserved for a District 7 to provide communications and targeted messaging to DeKalb residents to mitigate the public health emergency created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
NEED/IMPACT:
Communications and targeted messaging are needed to provide DeKalb County citizens with strategies on how to mitigate the public health emergency created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
FISCAL IMPACT:
To appropriate $50,000 from the American Rescue Plan grant funds for District 7 to mitigate the public health emergency created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
RECOMMENDATION:

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
