PURPOSE:
To approve placement of Thomson Park (Sign Toppers) signage within DeKalb County right-of-way to identify the Embry Hills neighborhood.
NEED/IMPACT:
The installation of the Sign Toppers will serve to identify the Thomson Park neighborhood to the traveling public. The area residents have hired FastSigns Decatur who has provided the necessary insurance documentation and will bear the responsibility of installing and maintaining the signs. The signage will be permitted by Public Works-Roads and Drainage as a utility permit. The signs will be installed on existing street signs within the Embry Hills neighborhood.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to county.
