PURPOSE:

To accept the terms of the Recipient - Sub-recipient Agreement from Georgia Emergency Management Agency for Homeland Security Grant #EMW-2020-SS-00089, Grant #71 in the amount of $30,000.00.  This agreement governs the use of funding provided by DHS to build capabilities for HazMat response.  The funds can only be applied to equipment found on the Authorized Equipment List (AEL).

 

NEED/IMPACT:

Funds are needed to provide equipment for the handling of hazardous materials in support of Georgia Emergency Management Agency.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

No cost to the county.

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents....
