PURPOSE:
To obtain Board of Commissioners approval of the Chapman Farm and Redan Nature Preserve Master Plan
NEED/IMPACT:
The Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department seeks BOC approval of the master plan for Chapman Farm and Redan Nature Preserve. The master plan is part of the 2020 Park Visioning Grant from Park Pride Atlanta. The plan includes a fishing pier, playground, parking lot, park road, restroom, dam inspection/renovations, landscaping and other amenities. The budget for the implementation of the plan is estimated at $2,616,222.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution to approve the Chapman Farm and Redan Nature Preserve master plan and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to completion.
