PURPOSE:
To appropriate District 7 reserves in the amount of $50,000 to the Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance to assist with the acquisition of 3.1 acres at 3950 Crossvale Rd. in Stonecrest, GA, that includes the historic Bryant home and houses the Flat Rock Archive.
NEED/IMPACT:
The $50,000 appropriation will be used to assist with the acquisition of 3.1 acres at 3950 Crossvale Rd. in Stonecrest, GA - Parcel ID 16-051-02-007. The Flat Rock Archives building and organization is an important part of the DeKalb County local community. The building is the historic home of the Bryant family and was built in the 1920s. This structure houses the Flat Rock Archives, which is currently working with the Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance to upgrade exhibits to the public. The acquisition of this property will allow the Flat Rock Archives the ability to provide more historical initiatives and learning events to the public.

Increase appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:

Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
