PURPOSE:
To consider authorizing the termination of the intergovernmental agreement between the County and the Development Authority for the Development Authority’s lease to the YMCA for the Bransby Outdoor Center at 1185 Rock Chapel Road, Lithonia, Georgia and authorize the County’s consent of the termination of the lease between the Development Authority and the YMCA.
NEED/IMPACT:
Together, the termination of the intergovernmental agreement between the County and the Development Authority and the termination of the lease between the YMCA and Development Authority extinguishes all rights of YMCA for the Bransby Outdoor Center.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to the County.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Authorize (1) the termination of the IGA between the County and the Development Authority regarding the Bransby Outdoor Center, (2) the County’s consent to the termination of the Development Authority’s lease to the YMCA, and (3) authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents in connection with completing this transaction.
