PURPOSE:
To approve placement of Clairmont Heights (Sign Toppers) signage within DeKalb County right-of-way to identify the Clairmont Heights Civic Association neighborhood.
NEED/IMPACT:
The installation of the Sign Toppers will serve to identify the Clairmont Heights neighborhood to the traveling public. The area residents have hired Signarama who has provided the necessary insurance documentation and will bear the responsibility of installing and maintaining the signs. The signage will be permitted by Public Works-Roads and Drainage as a utility permit. The signs will be installed on existing street signs within the Clairmont Heights neighborhood.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to county.
