PURPOSE:
To consider adopting the attached resolution creating Street Light District 121B in Land Lot 115
of the 15th District for the following street: Sugarmill Oaks Avenue; and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents pertaining to this project.
NEED/IMPACT:
Owners of 100% percent of the total front footage have signed the petition. The public hearing has been advertised and appropriate signs have been posted in the area notifying the residents. The petition is submitted as required for new developments in the DeKalb County Zoning Code.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The developer paid Georgia Power Company for the installation costs. All abutting property owners on this street will be assessed one dollar and ninety-two cents ($1.92) per lighted streetside foot per year in accordance with County policy.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Adopt the attached resolution to create Street Light District 121B in Land Lot 115 of the 15th District and have streetlights installed on Sugarmill Oaks Avenue; and Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents pertaining to the project.
