PURPOSE:
Consists of providing towing, removal, storage and impoundment of wrecked and disabled vehicles for private citizens in six (6) DeKalb County service areas and includes towing services for County-owned vehicles. These contracts are on-call and provide for the remittance of an administrative fee back to the County per tow except for DeKalb County vehicles. The fees established for tows have been calculated to reflect expenses in compliance with the provisions of O.C.G.A 40-11, Article 1A and 2. Four (4) proposals were received.
