PURPOSE:

Consists of piggybacking off the competitively let GSA Contract No. GS-035F-0119Y for the upgrade of the County’s firewall due to most of the workforce primarily working remotely. This upgrade is needed for load balancing and network segmentation to prevent bad actors from compromising the County’s systems, data and/or services.

Recommend approval to piggyback from the GSA Contract No. GS-035F-0119Y with:

 

Layer 3 Communications, LLC, 1450 Oakbrook Drive 900, Norcross, GA  30093

 

Amount Not To Exceed: $319,471.80
