PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on September 11, 2018 for an amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00. On August 27, 2019, the BOC approved the 1st renewal for an amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00. On September 22, 2020, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal for an amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00.  On June 22, 2021, the BOC approved the 3rd renewal for an amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00. This request is to extend the contract’s expiration date to September 30, 2023, as well as to add funding for new and ongoing projects including gas collection system expansion, phase 3, unit 2 construction of cells 3, 4 and 5 at the Seminole Road Landfill; and design and construction of flare yard modifications.

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:

 

Stearns Conrad and Schmidt Consulting Inc. dba SCS Engineers, 3175 Satellite Blvd., Suite 100,

Duluth, GA 30096

 

Amount Not To Exceed: $1,850,000.00

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
