PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on December 17, 2019 for an amount not to exceed $600,000.00 to two (2) vendors - Peek Pavement Marking, LLC and Lo & Rob Green Lovett. Change Order No. 1 was approved by the BOC on September 28, 2021 for an amount not to exceed $600,000.00 for Peek Pavement Marking, LLC. The request for additional funding was needed to enable the contractor to work on the County’s FY2021 LMIG Safety Action Plan and continuous operational striping and maintenance work to avoid any interruption in the pavement marking safety projects. The contract consists of painting and removal of paint on County roads. This request is to exercise the 2nd renewal option with one of the original awardees only.
