PURPOSE:
To pass a resolution requests that the DeKalb County Delegation to the Georgia General Assembly amend Section 18 of the Organizational Act by clarifying the respective authority and responsibilities of the Board of Commissioners and the Chief Executive Officer regarding enactment of the ordinance to establish a transparent and efficient County procurement system
NEED/IMPACT:
To implement transparent and efficient County procurement system is essential to fostering effective, fair and competitive procurement of goods, commodities, equipment and services, including professional services, on behalf of the citizens of DeKalb County.
