PURPOSE:
To consider approving an intergovernmental agreement between DeKalb County, Georgia and Rockdale County, Georgia to provide sewage services to Rockdale County’s Honey Creek Drainage Basin and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Intergovernmental Agreement is intended to establish the management protocol of certain sewage services and signifies a mutually beneficial, efficient and cooperative working relationship between the two governments.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Pursuant to Intergovernmental Agreement.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Adopt the attached Intergovernmental Agreement, dated October 26, 2021, as Date of Execution; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents in connection with the Intergovernmental Agreement in a form acceptable to the County Attorney or her designee.
