PURPOSE:
To approve a resolution to appropriate Federal America Rescue Plan funds reserved for District 4 for the
purposes of partnering with organizations to assist with housing insecurity, utility relief, food distribution,
health and mental health needs, technology and educational interventions and essential needs as defined by
American Rescue Plan criteria for use not to exceed $150,000.00.
NEED/IMPACT:
DeKalb stakeholders servicing constituents have a need for financial support to provide essential resources and
relief and support to DeKalb County residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. DeKalb Community
Development Department will have oversight for the program management, and monitoring of the 150,000.00
in funding allocations to community organizations.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Appropriation of an amount not to exceed $150,00.00 from POETA Account#105726-69110-521209-01-
602476 in the amounts prescribed to the following organizations.
St Vincent DePaul - $50,000
Ahisma House- $50,000
PALS-$50,000

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
